VESTOLIT B 7090 Ultra is a paste forming copolymeric micro-S-PVC that is suitable for producing pastes with almost Newtonian flow behavior.
Due to ist property profile, the product is particularly advantageous for low gelling pastes in the compact applications and in mechanically gassed foams.
VESTOLIT B 7090 Ultra with a vinyl acetate content of about 4 % shows significantly improved fusion properties compared with comparable homopolymers. Due to the low viscosity and the excellent storage stability of pastes of B 7090 Ultra for copolymers, the use of this product is recommended for all applications requiring significantly reduced gelling temperatures compared to conventional processing conditions.
Main applications are therefore automotive sealants, adhesive coatings and the coating of temperature-sensitive substrates. Due to ist good mechanical foamability, VESTOLIT B 7090 Ultra is also the preferred choice for low-temperature gelled back foams in CV floorings. The product is also contact gellable.
