VESTOLIT P 1353 KB is a paste forming homopolymer that is suitable for producing highviscosity pastes with pronounced pseudoplastic flow behavior.
The product is suitable for both compact processing and chemical foaming.
Due to its pronounced pseudoplasticity, VESTOLIT P 1353 KB is recommended for processing methods requiring high viscosities at low shear rates. This applies equally to the compact coating of open fabrics, to the production of foamed artificial leather in the two-layer process, and to spray processes, such as the underbody protection coating of motor vehicles. P 1353 KB is characterized by good mechanical properties, especially in the area of underbody protection.
Because of ist pseudoplasticity, the product is appropriate as a rheology additive to control the viscosity of pastes.
The viscosity as well as the yield point can be influenced by the choice of stabilizers.
