VESTOLIT E 8019 is a modified emulsion (E) PVC with a high molecular weight which is used for the production of rigid film. It can be calendered at low temperatures and gelated in line on laminating calenders to produce high impact film.
The use of VESTOLIT E 8019 enables improved processability and higher calendering speeds. It is also easily biaxially oriented at high temperatures and shows a good pigment compatibility at high filler levels.
Film made from VESTOLIT E 8019 has a minimal textured surface, is transparent and has outstanding mechanical properties. Films are mainly processed as oriented film for adhesive tape, high impact packing tapes and decorative film.
